Guide to Starting Meditation for Energy
By Victoria Enriquez · Certified Reiki Practitioner & Sound Healer

Starting a meditation practice doesn't have to be complicated. In fact, the simplest approaches are often the most effective for beginners. The key is to start small and build gradually, creating a sustainable habit that serves your well-being. If you're in Chandler, Arizona, I can guide you through your first experience at MEditation TIME.
How This Supports Healing
Begin with just five minutes a day. Find a comfortable seated position, close your eyes, and focus on your breath. Notice the sensation of air flowing in and out. When your mind wanders — and it will — gently bring your attention back to your breath without judgment. This simple practice builds the foundation for deeper meditation. Many of my clients started exactly this way before exploring sound-assisted meditation in my sessions.
What to Expect in Practice
As your practice develops, you can explore different techniques: guided meditations, body scans, loving-kindness meditation, or sound-assisted meditation using crystal singing bowls and tuning forks. Each approach offers unique benefits, and you may find that different techniques serve you at different times in your life. I offer a free 15-minute Tuning Fork Chakra Session for new visitors — a gentle introduction that many beginners find easier than meditating alone.
